Winter Pruning
Saturday January 7th in Community Orchard at 1 pm

Grafting workshops by Gerben de Vries.
Apple Winter Grafting class on Sunday 5 February.  
at Buittle Gardens, Auchtermuchty at 10am. Dress warmly. Cost £10.- to cover  materials. Free Coffee/tea and homemade cake. Each participant will receive two root stocks plus containers ready for planting.  Grafting tape, supports, soil, tools and labels will  be provided - but please bring a pair of sterilised secateurs if you can.
The apple cultivars to be grafted will also be provided, but you are of course free to bring your own (instructions will be sent on registration).  There will be a sufficient variety of cultivars to make a selection.  If there is enough demand a SECOND class may take place on the same day from 1.00-3.00 pm.  A further class, but then outdoors, will take place on 25 March.
